Primary Theme

Growing Your Comfort Zone (gYOURcz)

The theme isn’t to reinvent yourself or find a “new” you – I like the current you!

The focus here is to do small things each and every day to move us towards where we want to be.

Our comfort zone is our most productive zone – where we work the best, where we’re the most focused.

So this isn’t about bungee jumping or doing “extreme” things?

No, not unless that’s what you’re into.

The focus here is taking enjoyment in small, meaningful improvements towards your goal.

Daily Reminder

In order to track my progress, and document my own growth, I’ve set up a daily reminder.

You can join at twitter.com/gYOURcz

On Twitter, once per day the account @gYOURcz asks the question “wdy #gYOURcz YY/MM/DD” (short for “where did you grow YOUR comfort zone (with the date)).

I then reply back with my personal Twitter account of what it is I’ve done that day.

Why the Daily Reminder?

I have determined that in order for me to succeed personally, I need to be accountable to myself by growing my comfort zone.

As well, I hope to hear about other people who have made improvements in their lives, and that others can use this service as a similar tool.

If you’re interested, I hope to give you the opportunity to connect with others who have made large improvements in their lives, and learn from their experiences.

About Ed

Thanks for coming to grow YOUR comfort zone.

So far, I have been an entrepreneur, writer, learner, software developer, photocopier salesman, and banker.

My mission with this site is to help people who would like to grow their comfort zone and make their own future

I am focused on writing about my personal experiences, as well as those of others, covering both failures and successes.

Background

I come from 5 years of the sales world from 2004 – 2009. It was one of the most exciting and challenging times of my life – all fantastic experiences with wonderful companies, co-workers, and customers.

I worked with A level companies, achieved income goals that I never thought I would see in my life, let alone at such a young age, and learned new things on a daily basis.

I am, at heart, a left-brained introvert, yet with a few changes was able to survive and thrive as a salesperson in an industry where 100% employee turnover in a year was considered “normal”.

I have made a decision to embark on a “self-made” MBA – with about the same time and budget it would take to do an actual MBA, taking 2 years to develop self-sustaining streams of income.

I hope to share in my experiences, and to help you share you experiences with the world as a whole.

What is your Disclosure Policy?

My primary goal with this site is to help people do one thing every day to grow their comfort zone.

Any products or service I recommend may result in this site being compensated if you purchase them.

If you click on a link from my site (or any site for that matter) to somewhere else, assume that the link could somehow result in this site gaining compensation.

If for some reason, you see value in purchasing something I recommend, but don’t want to see this site to be compensated for it, then clear cookies in your browser, then revisit the product’s page through directly typing in the URL, searching for it through Google, or any other method you use to find websites.

Quite frankly, I’m rather indifferent on whether you purchase an item through my site or not – the priority is to have you working with programs and products that will help you first, and this site gaining revenue second.

I’d rather see lots of people get actual use out of this site, and make a small amount of revenue really helping a small portion of them by recommending things that I think would be a great help to them.

I believe that the people are smart enough that if I constantly recommend products that are basically garbage, yet pay this site high levels of compensation, people will ignore this site and over the long term there will be less benefit for both me and the public as a whole.

Any results or anecdotes are not typical of the “typical” person (I think that the “typical” person who purchases any product or service often doesn’t even use it – if we include those, often the “typical” result is no result)
